I’ve been posting on social media more “seriously” for a year now and have created this perfect "version” of myself, which I love but isn’t always who I am. I never want to consider myself an “influencer”, I see myself as a creator who, through the process, happens to be influential. I have created for as long as can remember.
Writing has never been a creative medium I looked too. Yes, I keep a journal on me but that’s personal and borderline illiterate.
I want to be able to write without the weight of how I have always viewed writing. For me it meant an essay in english class and the awful stress of how my peers would view my grammar. We’ve created a world of grammatical rules that have kept me from simply expressing myself. I was more worried about where the comma went than about actually expressing a thorough thought.
So if you find yourself here reading this, just know I am not a grammar queen.
But I want to write.
What you can expect:
-Bi weekly roundup of things I love- home goods, print, clothing, beauty tips, places, travel destinations, etc.
-Stories as I move through life.
-Creative outlets- inspiration, quotes, and all my hobbies. ( less consuming, more making).
mind never rests…
anyways.
xx
